Welcome to week 2 with the Spencers. Last week Raven found out she was pregnant and ready to give birth anytime now. Let’s see what happens to the family of comedians this week.
We start the week with a baby shower for Raven. All hers and Miles friends are there to celebrate the new baby together.
Raven’s neighbors are the only ones they know right now so they all came by.
Miles wants to shoot the cannon but it doesn’t go as planned. Some how Miles manages to catch the cannon on fire! Everyone runs outside to see what’s going on and to follow fire evacuation plans. Miles is able to put it out quickly to stop it from spreading.
Everyone stands around outside, unsure if they want to go back in.
After all the commotion and fire, Raven goes into labor during the baby shower. There isn’t enough time to get to the hospital so they decide to have the baby at home.
Welcome to the world little baby girl! Raven and Miles uses the name Wanda Spencer, after the famous and funny comedian Wanda Sykes. Raven has also acquired an illness so she doesn’t look too great right now.
Miles gets a new personality trait, cheerful, which makes sense with how many jokes and playful moodlets this family has.
Miles spends time with Wanda while Raven is busy. They both love Wanda so very much!
Time for Wanda to age up and become an infant!
Wanda is a very sunny infant, who loves to smile. She loves wake up time but is a bit picky with her food.
Raven spends time with Wanda, teaching her how to hold her head up and roll onto her back. Wanda loves to learn and spend time with her parents.
The Humor and Hijinks Festival is here! Time to head for the festival even though they are both suppose to work tonight.
Wanda is part of the family so she tags along with her parents. She seems to love the exciting atmosphere. Miles and Raven join the Jokesters as expected.
Miles does some really funny jokes he wrote in front of a crowd of people. He seems nervous at first but as he hears the audience laughing, he gets more involved in the performance.
Raven spends time talking to different people and telling funny jokes.
Wanda is enjoying the performance and the attention as well. She loves to smile at anyone she sees.
Of course the Jokesters win and Wanda isn’t a fan of the fireworks. We get our prize which we immediately sell as we already have a microphone. We win two more and who needs that many microphones!
Spring Break is here! This holiday is a two day event that allows a family to take a vacation or travel somewhere. This is a holiday so no work or school is required.
Since the family doesn’t have much money and Wanda is too young to go to many places, they decide to stay local. The plan for the first half of Spring Break is to visit the community center in San Sequoia.
Early in the morning before Wanda is up, Miles is cooking a meal for him and Raven while Raven works on some jokes.
Soon after breakfast, Wanda wakes up and Miles gets her ready for the day adventure. This will be Wanda’s first of many adventures to the local community center.
Family arrives at the community center. Wanda looks happy to be outside with her dad.
Miles teaches Wanda to lift her head while Raven spends time exercising. She chats with a few other people at the center that she just met.
While Wanda takes a nap, Miles and Raven work on a puzzle. After Wanda wakes up, they decide it’s time to head home as Miles is now ill. This family seems to be ill a lot right now.
Day 2 of Spring Break. What is the family planning for today?
It’s raining today so their plans are to stay inside and spend time together at home. Wanda slept through the night last night so they want to enjoy the extra sleep they got.
It won’t be long now before Wanda ages up to a toddler so they spent the day giving her new toddler room a makeover. They are planning to move her upstairs where she can have more space to play and be a kid.
Miles and Raven practice sitting with Wanda and finally she’s able to sit on her own. She is so proud of herself, now she can get around more on her own.
Raven wants to have another child. Miles is happy either way but hasn’t had the same wish lately. Maybe it’s going to happen or maybe not. Leave this up to the gods of randomness, with the risky woohoo.
Miles got promoted to level 4 of the entertainer career. Raven did not at this time but she is really close as well. Missing that day this week for Humor and Hijinks festival hurt both of them a bit with their boss.
Congrats to Miles on the promotion, even Raven is super happy for the pay increase so they can expand and upgrade the house some more soon.
Wanda gets to try baby food in her high chair now that she can sit on her own. We try Potato puree first and she’s not sure about it. We tried peas and got the same response.
Wanda definitely is a picky eater, we started getting dislikes on many foods after not sure the first time. The only one Raven found she likes is ice cream. What kid wouldn’t like ice cream?
Raven starts to think that she might be pregnant as things start to feel similar to last time with Wanda. She takes a pregnancy test and it comes back positive.
Raven is happy to have a new baby on the way and can’t wait to tell Miles.
Miles is happy to hear another baby is on the way. Miles is hoping for a little boy to add to the family but he’ll be happy with either.
It is a very stormy day out there. Miles comes home from work in the rain and just as he gets to the door to enter, gets struck by lightning. A few more steps inside and he would have been safe. He is able to recover quickly and get cleaned up in the shower. He is a very lucky guy!
Wanda’s first blow out diaper. She definitely needs a bath now.
Raven comes home in the storm after work too. She doesn’t want to stand out there long as she doesn’t want to get hit by lightning too. She got a promotion to level 4 of the entertainer career like Miles did before.
Wanda’s birthday is upon us… Miles helps her to age up into a toddler.
Isn’t Wanda so adorable as a toddler. She’s already got a quirk of Wanderer.
Wanda is a silly toddler who loves the color pink. She is a wanderer, hates going to bed and even hates to wake up in the morning. She’s going to be a handful for Raven and Miles.
Potty training and eating food in her high chair. She looks really tired, time for her to go to bed..
Miles reads her a bedtime story. He has to read multiple stories as Wanda likes to get back up.
Everyone gets to bed and now it’s Sunday at 4am, and time to move onto another family. Hope you enjoyed the first two weeks with the Spencer family.
